About

Hello! Welcome to Bradshaw Editorial–where design, writing, and editing thrive. My name is Sarah Bradshaw, and I specialize in perfecting the written word, images, and book ideas. I have a B.S in Biology, an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Certificate in Editing from the University of Washington. I have worked for ten years as a creative and editorial director for children’s and young adult books. I enjoy sipping tea while reviewing new work and sending thoughtful and unique feedback to clients.

I am passionate about all aspects of publishing: concept, design, working with writers, selecting the perfect illustrator, and creating a stunning cover. What I enjoy most about the process is collaborating with truly talented people and drawing on their individual skills to create a unique product. I’ve managed the development of more than 180 book titles that have generated revenue of over $12 million.

I have had the pleasure of working with:

  • Continuus Materials
  • Fine Print Publishing
  • Girl Friday Productions
  • Island Cupcakery
  • Lizzy Dee Studio
  • Parragon, Ltd.
  • Rainstorm Publishing
  • REI (Recreational Equipment, Inc.)
  • Ryan Olson Ltd.
  • Sweet Cherry Publishing

My work includes concept building, writing and editing, art direction, project management, consultation, design, web and digital content design, and brand building. Visit my Amazon author’s page here: Sarah Bradshaw

When I’m not in the office, I teach Vinyasa yoga and go on the many beautiful hikes Seattle has to offer. I have a long list of must-read books; you can always find one hiding in my purse, car, or nightstand. I’m also constantly planning my next trip to somewhere new and undiscovered!

I am located in Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood.
